User Agreement

Welcome to Posty, a text-to-movie poster generation app designed to help you create high-quality, watermark-free posters with zero design threshold. By downloading, installing, or using Posty, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using the App. If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please uninstall and stop using the App immediately.

1. No Account Required for Usage

• Unlike many other apps, Posty allows you to access all its core features without creating an account, logging in, or providing any personal information. You can start generating posters right away by entering text descriptions and customizing parameters—no email address, name, phone number, or other personal details are needed. We do not track your usage, create user profiles, or link your activities to any personal identity. Your experience with the App is completely anonymous and independent of any account-based system.
• Since no account is required, there is no account registration, password reset, or account recovery process. You are solely responsible for accessing and using the App on your own device, and we will not be liable for any unauthorized use of the App on your device if you fail to secure it properly.

2. Scope of Services

• Posty provides AI-powered text-to-poster generation services, including but not limited to:
  • generating high-definition, watermark-free movie posters based on user-provided text descriptions;
  • supporting full-style customization (sci-fi, action, literary, fantasy, etc.);
  • allowing precise adjustment of parameters such as screen elements, title fonts, decorative borders, poster sizes, light and shadow effects, filter intensity, and poster blank ratio;
  • enabling local storage of generated posters for user access and sharing.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, add, or remove features of the App at any time without prior notice. This may include optimizing AI generation algorithms, adding new styles or parameters, or fixing bugs to improve user experience. We will notify you of major feature changes through in-app pop-up messages when necessary.
• The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We strive to ensure the App runs smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices and operating system versions. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or other technical reasons, and will restore service as soon as practicable.

3. User Responsibilities and Usage Rules

When using Posty, you agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and this Agreement. You are solely responsible for the text descriptions you input, the parameters you set, and the posters you generate (the “User Content”). You must not use the App to generate, store, or share any content that is illegal, inappropriate, or infringing, including but not limited to:

• Pornographic, violent, bloody, or obscene content;
• Content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or harm to individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, nationality, or other characteristics;
• Content that infringes on others’ intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, patents, or privacy rights (e.g., using copyrighted characters, logos, or images without permission);
• Content that is false, misleading, or intended to defame, harass, or threaten others;
• Content related to illegal activities, such as drug use, terrorism, or organized crime;
• Any other content that violates local, national, or international laws.

We have implemented basic content filters in the App to prevent the generation of illegal or inappropriate content. However, since all generation and storage processes occur locally on your device, you bear the ultimate responsibility for all User Content. If you generate or share content that violates this Agreement or applicable laws, you will be solely liable for any legal consequences, damages, or claims arising therefrom. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the App if we detect repeated violations of these rules.

You also agree not to engage in any of the following behaviors when using the App:

• Modifying, hacking, reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App, or attempting to access its source code;
• Using third-party tools, plugins, or software to interfere with the App’s operation or bypass its built-in filters;
• Using the App for commercial purposes without our prior written permission (e.g., generating posters for paid advertising, selling generated posters, or using the App as part of a commercial service);
• Misrepresenting the origin of generated posters (e.g., claiming AI-generated posters as hand-drawn works without disclosure);
• Placing the App on any device that contains malware, viruses, or other harmful software that may affect the App’s performance or security.

4. AI-Generated Content and Intellectual Property

• Pursuant to applicable regulations, all posters generated using Posty are AI-generated content. You agree to properly identify any generated posters when sharing or distributing them publicly—for example, by noting that the content is “AI-generated using Posty” in a visible location. This helps ensure transparency and complies with requirements for AI-generated content disclosure.
• You retain ownership of the User Content you generate with the App, provided that such content does not infringe on any third-party rights or violate applicable laws. You may use, share, and reproduce your generated posters for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., social media sharing, fan creation, personal collections) as you see fit, subject to this Agreement and applicable laws.
• The App itself, including but not limited to its software, algorithms, UI design, logos, trademarks, and pre-set styles/parameters, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or use any part of the App for commercial purposes without our explicit written permission. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement.
• We do not claim ownership of your User Content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App’s services (e.g., generating posters based on your input). This license expires once you uninstall the App and delete all your User Content from your device.

5. Local Storage and Data Control

• All User Content (including text descriptions, parameter settings, and generated posters) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers or any third-party services. We have no access to, control over, or backup of your User Content. You can view, edit, or delete your User Content at any time through the App’s gallery feature. Deleting User Content from the App will permanently remove it from your device, and we cannot recover it.
• The security of your User Content depends on the security measures of your device (e.g., passcodes, biometric locks, operating system updates). We recommend keeping your device secure to prevent unauthorized access to your User Content. We will not be liable for any loss, theft, or unauthorized access to your User Content due to device security breaches.

6. Third-Party Services and Sharing

• Posty does not integrate any third-party analytics tools, advertising services, or data-sharing platforms. The App operates independently on your device, with no connections to external servers that could collect or access your data.
• If you choose to share your generated posters on social media, messaging apps, or other third-party platforms, this sharing is done directly by you through your own accounts on those platforms. Posty does not access your third-party accounts, collect data from your sharing activities, or control how third-party platforms use your shared content. You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party platform you use to share your posters.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App or its services. The App is provided on an “as is” basis, and we do not guarantee that it will meet your specific needs, be free of errors, or operate without interruption. We do not warrant the accuracy, quality, or legality of AI-generated posters, and we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the generation process.
• We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. This includes damages caused by device malfunctions, loss of User Content, or violations of third-party rights due to your User Content.

8. Changes to This Agreement

• We may update this Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s features, applicable laws, or industry standards. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through a pop-up message within the App at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect will constitute your acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree to the updated Agreement, please uninstall and stop using the App.
• You can review the latest version of this Agreement at any time by going to the “Settings” section in the App.

9. Termination

• You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the App and deleting all User Content from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion if you violate any terms of this Agreement, engage in illegal activities, or use the App in a way that harms our interests or the interests of other users.
• Upon termination, all rights granted to you under this Agreement will cease, and you must stop using the App. The sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing law will survive termination.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation first. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent court of the State of California.
